I'm Lise — mom to five amazing humans, granny to six sweet littles (and counting!), and the hands behind Blessed by Bread. When I'm not elbow-deep in flour, you'll find me savoring a rich espresso with my Bible, writing children’s books, gazing at the stars, or curled up by the fire on chilly winter nights with hot chocolate and a good movie.

My love for baking runs deep — there's something magical about transforming simple ingredients into nourishing loaves. Maybe it's the way bread brings people together, or how the rhythm of baking mirrors life's beautiful messiness. Either way, I believe every loaf should tell a story — of patience, care, and God's goodness in the everyday.
