This page explains what information Blessed by Bread collects when you visit this website or submit an Order Request, and how that information is used.

Order information

To submit an Order Request, you'll use a temporary Google Form — a Google product, separate from this website. It asks for your name, delivery address, email, and an optional phone number.

Order contact information is transactional only: it is used solely to process, confirm, and deliver your order. Blessed by Bread does not use order contact information for reminders or marketing messages. An optional phone number is kept only for time-sensitive delivery problems; Blessed by Bread does not send SMS/text marketing.

Submitting the form creates an Order Request, not a customer account, and does not commit Blessed by Bread to fulfillment — see How to Order for what happens next. Google's own privacy policy governs how Google Forms stores and transmits your submission; Blessed by Bread does not control Google's systems.

Website analytics

This website uses Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand anonymous, aggregate traffic — for example, how many people visit each page. Umami is the only browser-analytics service active on this site.

Umami does not use cookies or device fingerprinting to identify you, and it is configured on this site to:

  • Collect data only for the blessedbybread.com domain.
  • Ignore URL search parameters and page fragments (the part of a link after ? or #).
  • Honor your browser's Do Not Track setting — if it is enabled, Umami does not track your visit.

Beyond automatic page visits, this site sends exactly two kinds of custom events to Umami, and nothing else:

  • order_form_open — recorded when you click a button that opens the external order form. It carries only a fixed label describing which button was clicked (for example, home_closing or order_page).
  • contact_intent — recorded when you click a phone or email link on this site related to ordering. It carries only a fixed method label (phone or email) and a fixed placement label.

These events never include your name, email address, phone number, delivery address, order contents, page text, or any part of a URL's query string or fragment. Analytics is never used to identify or contact a visitor, and clicking a tracked link works the same way whether or not analytics loads successfully, is blocked, or fails.

This site does not use session replay, heatmaps, a public analytics dashboard, or any tool that links your website activity to your order. Order information stays in the order system; analytics never receives it.

Separately, Lise keeps a private weekly count of form submissions, accepted orders, and fulfilled orders to understand overall bakery activity. This log contains counts only — never names, contact details, addresses, or order contents — and is not connected to website analytics.
